Meet at Daly Park in Tempe, AZ (College Ave, about mid-way between Apache & Broadway. Just south of the RR tracks ) at 3:00pm March leaves at 4pm
This is a call to ACTION for all Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queers of color, Drag Queens, Sex Radicals, Political Militants, and ALL OTHERS being excluded from "traditional" culture to meet for a peaceful march and demonstration of protest outside of the Presidential Debate. Our presence will feed into a large diverse demonstration of music, street theater and protest organized by several local social justice groups that comprise the October 13th Alliance. This is our chance to show the 30 million viewers of this event around the country that Arizona’s grass roots community is Unified and Organizing to fight against oppression!
You come out every year for Gay pride. This is a chance to Prove it! When it could really mean something! We must stand up to the bullies fighting to make our lives illegal! Please take time to be there. We need your support!
Things to bring – YOU…friends…signs… banners… rainbow flags… drums… bubbles…LOVE…
What to wear – The GAYEST outfit you can find, honey!! The world could use a little color!!!
